Welcome to the homepage of The Go Assitant. We have been working to finish the product up in the last couple of months and much has been accomplished. However, there are still a couple of features that we want to implement that have not made it to the current release.

The Go Assistant is a computer program wich provides a set of tools to assist the serious Go player. The Assistant includes a variations Editor, IGS Client subsystem, and a full OLE server for inclusion of Go games and problems directly into OLE container applications such as Word for Windows (TM), WordPerfect (TM), etc.

More information about Go on the internet can be seen at the following sites: IGS (Internet Go Server), American Go Association, Nihon Ki-in (English), and Nihon Ki-in (Japanese). The AGA site maintains a collection of links to clubs throughout the world (often to pages maintained by interested Go players.)
